This week in literacy lessons we have been journalists, writing the tragic events of The Highwayman as a newspaper report. This particular genre is difficult to master but we have done a great job of using appropriate vocabulary and style to create effective newspaper reports. Next week we will publish our final reports but here are some of the starts we have made this week.
Computing
This half-term in Design and Technology and Computing lessons, the class have been tasked with designing and creating a steady hand game that incorporates a BBC Micro:bit. Over the past few weeks we have been busy creating code, designing circuitry and making the base and wire track that will form the completed game. We aim to have our games ready to play next week and will post some videos of them in action but until then, below are some examples of the code that we have been making that will run on the Micro:bit.
